3rd Grade Independence Hall Project
For my 3rd Grade project, I picked Independence Hall. We visited Independence Hall, which is in Philadelphia, between 5th and 6th Streets! This is a picture of Independence Hall before we took the tour. We checked out the Visitor's Center before our tour. There were lots of interesting things there. The Visitor's Center had a reproduction of the Sun Chair. Ben Franklin wondered whether the sun was rising or setting. He decided it was rising, on a new country. I was inspired by this quote from Abraham Lincoln, who also visited Independence Hall. This is a picture from across Independence Mall. You can see the President's House, which was destroyed and buried over many years. President Washington and President Adams lived in this house.
